William B. Lee, IV
Mr. Lee is President of Select Benefit Consultants, Inc. an Employee Benefits Communication and Consulting firm located in Augusta, Georgia. Mr. Lee has twenty-six years of experience in the employee benefits field. Beginning in 1975 with the Equitable Life Assurance Society's Southern Regional office in Atlanta, Georgia as a teacher for Equitable's Group Health Insurance, Qualified and Non-Qualified Retirement Plans, Group Disability, and Life Insurance. Mr. Lee moved his family to Augusta, Georgia in 1983 to become a Sales Manager for the Equitable with offices in Augusta, Savannah, Brunswick and Waycross, Georgia. In 1990 Mr Lee became an independent broker concentrating in the Employee Benefits field. Select Benefit Consultants was Incorporated in 1996 with Mr. Lee as President. EDUCATION Mr. Lee was graduated from Concord College in 1975 with a Bachelors degree in Communication. He has earned both the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from the American College. PROFESSIONAL AND CIVIC BACKGROUND Mr. Lee is a Past President of the Augusta Chapter of the American Society of Life Underwriters and member of the Augusta Estate Planning Council. Mr. Lee is a past officer of the Augusta Ballet and The Augusta Players. Mr. Lee is also a past President of the Augusta West AMBUCKS. Mr. Lee was elected and served four years on the Richmond County Board of Education and chose not to run for another term.
